From pickpocketing mages to mystical thieves, the fantastical criminal underworld can be dark and filled with magic. But when challenges arise and the fate of the world is dependent on a protagonist’s triumph, how will they undo the corruption bleeding into their lives?

There’s the good guys, the bad guys, and then there’s the good bad guys. We can’t help but love them, even when they don’t make the best decisions. They’re arguably the most common denominator in fantasy/paranormal romance. How do characters with questionable morals come to be so lovable? Why are we drawn to them, and do their bad decisions automatically make them the anti-hero?
