WHO WE ARE
Imaginarium Book Festival was founded in 2018 by two authors who have been a part of the book community for over a decade, who seek to spotlight books and writers in the SFF, speculative fiction, and paranormal genres — realms of escapism. The festival is hosted annually in Washington, DC, welcoming an array of bestselling authors and hundreds of fans.
OUR MISSION
We aim to create a safe space for diverse storytellers and equally diverse readers, embracing every gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, and culture. From the beginning, our goal has been to showcase the vibrancy of the fantasy genre, and to be a conduit to all the different ways of seeing the world — one book at a time.
