Will there be more tickets for sale?Generally, once tickets are sold out, they are sold out for good and we don't add any more. However, in the rare chance more tickets do become available, we will always make the appropriate announcements via our email newsletter and our social media.

How do Lit Talk tickets work?A Lit Talk Add-on ticket gives you access to all sessions during the weekend event. 1 ticket = all sessions.

Can I bring my kids?IBF is a kid-friendly event, so you can certainly bring your kids. Children 12 and under may attend for free. All children must be supervised by a guardian/parent. If your kids would prefer a lanyard and/or a swag tote, you will have to purchase a ticket for them.

Will books be available to buy on-site, or do we bring our own?The on-site bookstore (B&N Fairfax) will be open on both days of the festival, at the University of the District of Columbia. Many authors will be selling their books at their table as well, so you can purchase books at the festival AND/OR you can bring your books from home to be signed.

Are tickets refundable?Tickets for IBF are non-refundable. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at info@imaginariumbookfestival.com. You may safely trade and resell tickets in our website member forum.

Am I allowed to bring books from home?Yes! Definitely feel free to bring books from home to have your favorite author(s) sign. However, there is a limit of THREE(3) BOOKS each time you go up to have something signed. If you have more books you would like signed, you can just get back in line, if there is a line.

Is there a hotel discount code?We are currently not affiliated with any hotels and do not have any hotel blocks reserved for the event. If you are coming from out-of-town and you're hoping to stay at a hotel near the National Press Club (IBF venue), we have a list available here.
